Our Reformer Pilates classes are a maximum of 10 clients per class, all clients complete the same exercises in a group workout setting led by an instructor, with an exception of modification provided to those clients who need them.  An initial assessment is not necessary however we highly recommend attending one before starting Reformer Pilates so you have a good understanding of core activation and some other important technical aspects. 

Reformer Align​

Our Reformer Align  class is open to everyone. This class focuses on fundamental Pilates principles, functional movement and refining your technique. Don’t be fooled, our Align class isn’t EASY, however, we offer regressions and progressions, so it’s a class suitable for all levels. Pregnant Ladies: We encourage clients in their second and third trimester to join our Private or Semi-Private Pilates Classes.

Reformer Burn

Our Burn class is an intermediate class. Perfect if you have previous experience using the reformer or want to try something more dynamic. These classes focus on technique enhancement, layering progressions and increasing strength by building resistance with more complex movements.  This class is not suitable during second and third trimester of pregnancy.

Reformer Hiit

Reformer HIIT (High(er) Intensity Interval Training) class combines the best of Pilates Reformer and HIIT in one dynamic class. It’s structured interval training where props like  weights, kettle bells, balls, mats, magic circles and boxes are used in tandem with Pilates Reformer movements to build strength and endurance and get an amazing cardio hit. This class is suitable for those needing more cardio in their life and who love HIIT.  This class is not suitable during second and third trimester of pregnancy.

Morning Flow

This is a Vinyasa  class focuses on energetic and dynamic movement from pose to pose creating a sense of fluid physical motion and mindfulness – including sun salutations, a creative and dynamic sequence. Variations of poses as well as progressions are offered to modify the intensity of the practice and to suit practitioners on the day. When practiced regularly Vinyasa strengthens muscles, enhances mobility and increases flexibility. Our Vinyasa classes are open to all levels of experience including 2nd trimester pregnancy. Classes are balanced and include asana (posture), basic Pranayama (breathing exercises) and guided relaxation.

Om Gentle Flow

These classes focus on alignment and mindful transitions and are a slower-paced version of Hatha class – including sun salutations, standing and floor postures, as well as introductions to inversions and guided relaxation. These classes allow little extra time and space to focus on your breath and refine postures. Variations of poses are offered to modify the intensity of the practice to suit the practitioners on the day. You’ll leave feeling a little bit lighter and a lot more open. All bodies are welcome here!

Restorative Yoga

This class involves holding very simple postures for an extended period of time (between 5-20 mins) and using props to aid in deep relaxation and rejuvenation. The intention behind restorative is to nourish the parasympathetic nervous system and experience deep seated rest. Our Restorative Yoga is suitable for all levels and is the perfect compliment to a more dynamic yoga practice or lifestyle. It is the antidote to stress and aids in nourishing tired, sore muscles and has a strong therapeutic theme.

Vin Yin Yoga

also referred to as Yin Yang Yoga, is a yoga sequence that combines Vinyasa Yoga and Yin Yoga. This is normally done with Vinyasa as the first half of the sequence and Yin Yoga as the second half. The Vinyasa portion warms the body up and rids your body of excess Prana, or energy. After this, your body is ready to relax and lengthen during the Yin Yoga portion. This Class is suitable for all levels.

Slow Flow Yoga

 is based on the marriage of the classical yoga, vinyasa and hatha, endeavoring to be a benefit to the body, mind and soul.  A calmer pace creates an opportunity to discover the deep fullness and intricacies within alignment & energy of a pose, while the rhythm of a flow pays homage to vinyasa with mindful transitions and allows body, mind and spirit to abide together through breath within movement meditation.  Ideal for all levels, the pace and mindful alignment welcomes in a wealth of discoveries for beginners, while seasoned practitioners can delve deeper into the foundation of poses.  This class is open to all levels.   At the end of the class you will enjoy 15min of beautiful sound bowl meditation.

Barre

These classes are an awesome group workout that will help lengthen and strengthen your dancer muscles.  Based on elements of a Ballet Barre and Piates, youll leave these sessions feeling like you’ve worked out every muscle in yoru body. Suitabed to any fitness level, classes are a maximum of 10 clients.
